Biography
Iqbol Mirzo was born on May 1, 1967, in the village of Qoshtegirmon in the Baghdad district of the Fergana region.
After finishing high school in 1984, he entered the "Uzbek Language and Literature" faculty of the Fergana State Pedagogical Institute and successfully graduated in 1991.
Iqbol Mirzo has worked as a department head and responsible secretary in newspapers such as "Uzbekiston Tabiati" and "Vatan." Currently, he works at the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.
In 2005, Iqbol Mirzo was awarded the title of "People's Poet of Uzbekistan."
